The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, will also participate in the discussions. Fitch Ratings, along with Moody's and S&P, plays a crucial role in determining the interest rates at which the Romanian state borrows and influences the perception of international investors about Romania. In the last assessment in August last year, Fitch placed Romania in the BBB category, considered stable, but with a negative outlook, highlighting the need for strengthening public finances and reviving economic growth. The agency's next assessment is scheduled for February 13.
