Premier Energy has announced the acquisition of Distribuție Energie Oltenia, a company that manages the electricity network in the southwest of Romania and serves 1.5 million consumers. Premier Energy, the third largest player in the natural gas distribution market and the fourth electricity supplier in Romania, will acquire the Evryo group, including 100% stakes in Felix Distribution Holdings SRL and Evryo Power SA. The CEO of Premier Energy, José Garza, stated that this acquisition will strengthen the company's integrated energy platform. The financing of the transaction will be carried out through advanced discussions with a global financial institution for a bond issuance. The transaction is subject to shareholder approval and usual regulations, and the financial completion is estimated for the second half of 2026. Premier Energy has a renewable capacity of over 500 MW and supplies electricity to over 2.2 million customers.
