The NASDAQ 100 Index returned +436% over 10 years, but with a 33x earnings multiple and dividends of 0.7%. Comparatively, Slovenia and Romania performed similarly, but with lower valuation multiples and higher dividend yields. Slovenia rose +53% in 2025 and Romania +28%, while Western European markets such as the DAX and CAC 40 had much smaller increases. Investors should diversify between US and Eastern European markets to manage risk and achieve more stable yields.
