OMV Petrom will invest €2 billion by 2030 at its Petrobrazi refinery to modernize it and produce biofuels.

The investments include a plant to produce sustainable aviation fuels and diesel from renewable sources, as well as two plants to produce green hydrogen. The company aims to reduce the refinery's carbon intensity by more than 15% by 2030. OMV Petrom also supports social projects with impact in the communities of Prahova.
