OMV Petrom, the leader of the fuel distribution market in Romania, has once again increased prices at its stations, both for diesel and gasoline. This morning, diesel rose by 10 bani, reaching 10.42 lei, compared to 10.17 lei yesterday. For gasoline, the price increased from 10.23 lei to 10.48 lei. This trend of rising prices has also been observed in other fuel chains, such as Lukoil and Rompetrol. In the context of these increases, lawmakers have adopted a bill declaring a state of crisis in the fuel market and petroleum products, valid until the end of October. This measure comes in response to recent price fluctuations and will have implications for consumers and the economy.
