The National Bank of Romania published on Monday a reference exchange rate of 4.9775 lei per euro, slightly up from 4.9773 lei previously. The dollar rose to 4.3903 lei from 4.3851 lei. The pound sterling was quoted at 5.8391 lei and the Swiss franc at 5.3278 lei. The price of gold also rose to 466.0411 lei per gram from 460.2343 lei.
