President Klaus Iohannis has signed the decree promulgating the Law on Combating Excessive Agricultural and Food Prices.

The temporary measure, valid for 90 days, applies throughout the production, processing, import, intra-Community trade, distribution and retail chains. The law also provides for the introduction of a maximum limit of 5% of the commercial addition for basic foodstuffs.
