According to the NSI, industrial output fell by 2.8% in the first five months of 2025, influenced by declines in manufacturing (-3.4%) and mining and quarrying (-1.4%). However, in May, industrial output increased by 7.8% compared to April, thanks to advances in manufacturing (+9%) and mining and quarrying (+6%). Compared to May 2024, industrial output increased by 7.1%, supported by all industrial sectors.
