Hidroelectrica has finalized the tender for a Li-ion battery storage facility in the Crucea Nord Wind Farm, signing a contract with Prime Batteries Technology and Enevo Group. This investment, worth almost 80 million lei, will reduce the wind farm's internal imbalances and provide balancing services for the national power system. With a nominal capacity of 36 MW and a storage capacity of 72 MWh, the project marks a first for Hidroelectrica, contributing to the diversification of its portfolio and the promotion of renewable energies.
