Green Tech International, a leader in geothermal energy, has announced the start of works for the largest hydroponic greenhouse complex in Romania, powered by geothermal energy. The project aims to establish a minimum of 50 hectares of greenhouses in the next five years, with the first phase of 10 hectares in the west of the country. The company will invest in the rehabilitation of geothermal wells and the modernization of a thermal power plant, benefiting from the advantages of geothermal energy, which offers reduced costs and stability. Green Tech International recently completed an initial public offering on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, valued at 1 billion lei.
