The National Bank of Romania has published the exchange rate for April 9, 2025, showing a depreciation of the leu against the Swiss franc, which reached 5.3594 lei, the highest level since December 2024. In contrast, the leu gained against the US dollar, quoted at RON 4.5115, and the pound sterling, at RON 5.7821. The leu also depreciated against the euro, which stood at 4.9775 lei. The price of a gram of gold rose by almost 1.7 lei to 441.8413 lei.
