The proposals include a fast-track authorization regime for defense projects, reducing the approval time to 60 days, and the establishment of single points of contact in member states. They are also aimed at cutting red tape and facilitating access to funding through the European Defence Fund, encouraging joint procurement and improving coordination between EU defence industries. These measures are designed to strengthen Europe's ability to respond rapidly to threats.
