Electrica recorded a preliminary net profit of 1.218 billion lei in 2025, 159.2% more than in 2024, and operational revenues of 12.165 billion lei

The Electrica Group reported a record preliminary net profit of 1.218 billion lei in 2025, increasing by 159.2% compared to 470.2 million lei in 2024. Operating revenues grew by 12.9%, reaching 12.165 billion lei. EBITDA increased by 64.5%, reaching 2.383 billion lei, due to improvements in the supply and distribution segments. The supply segment contributed significantly, with a revenue increase of 2.125 billion lei, following the removal of price caps. The investments made amounted to 878.4 million lei, with a realization rate of 110%. Electrica continues to develop in the field of renewable energy, having ongoing production projects.
