Energy Minister Bogdan Ivan announced that the funds raised from the listing of Electrica's bonds, Romania's largest green bond issue, will be used to strengthen electricity generation capacity, targeting 1,000 MW from renewable sources and 900 MW for storage by 2030. The issue attracted high interest, with an 11-fold oversubscription, demonstrating the attractiveness of state-owned companies to investors. These bonds will support green projects, thus contributing to Romania's energy transition.
