The European Banking Authority (EBA) has assessed 64 European banks, finding that none are in breach of core capital requirements and only one is in breach of leverage requirements. The results suggest the EU banking system is prepared for a prolonged recession, given adverse scenarios including geopolitical and trade tensions. Banca Transilvania participated in these tests, confirming its financial soundness and ability to support the Romanian economy in difficult conditions.
