The American industrial conglomerate Eaton has started construction on a new factory in the village of Sârbi, Maramureș County, with an investment of 6 million dollars.
The project, valued at 26 million lei, "exceeds the simple construction of a hall", representing an important step in the development of the company's operations. Pamela Mack, Operations Director of the PMCC Division of the Eaton Group, thanked local and county authorities for their support in starting the construction of a connecting road between the production halls, essential for streamlining internal transport. The new production unit will have an area of 5,000 square meters and will contribute to expanding Eaton's production capacities in Romania.
