In the week of October 13-17, 2025, the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) recorded a significant decrease in market capitalization, losing approximately 3.98 billion lei.

The most active trading day was Thursday, October 16, with a turnover of 68.95 million lei, while Wednesday, October 15, was the weakest day, with transactions of only 27.83 million lei. The BET index closed the week at 21,777.39 points. The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions exceeding 59.6 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom and Hidroelectrica. The largest price increases were recorded by Armătura, Comelf, and Promateris, while significant declines were observed in the stocks of the Electrocontact Industrial Group, Bittnet Systems, and Romcarbon.
