State-owned Conpet SA, the national crude oil transporter, reported a net profit of 22.56 million lei in the first half of 2025, a 12.2% decrease compared with the same period in 2024. Turnover rose 1.7% to 271.34 million lei. During this period, 3.26 million tons of products were transported, 8.1% less than last year. Conpet invested 37 million lei to improve transportation efficiency. The company is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, with the Ministry of Energy as majority shareholder.
