Through the budget rectification, CNAS has obtained a significant increase in funds for cost-volume contracts, from 6.2 billion lei to 8.5 billion lei. This amount will allow the continuation of treatments for patients benefiting from innovative therapies and will facilitate access for other patients to essential medications. The president of CNAS, Horațiu-Remus Moldovan, emphasized the importance of this decision for public health and invited pharmaceutical manufacturers to participate in negotiations for new contracts.
