The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed higher on most indices on Tuesday's session.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, increased by 0.45%, reaching 28,003.85 points, while BET-Plus recorded an appreciation of 0.44%. The BET-XT index, which reflects the most liquid 25 stocks, advanced by 0.28%. In contrast, the SIF index, BET-FI, depreciated by 1.15%, while BET-BK closed down by 0.07%. BET-NG, which measures the performance of energy companies, rose by 0.18%, while BET AeRO decreased by 0.33%. The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, followed by OMV Petrom and Hidroelectrica. The best performances were recorded by Romcarbon (+7.14%), Transilvania Broker de Asigurare (+5.77%) and Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagră (+5.61%). The largest declines were recorded by UAMT (-14.18%), Mecanica Ceahlău (-8.25%) and Romcab (-6.06%).
