The proposal to extend the implementation period for projects under the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (PNRR) was included in the report coordinated by Victor Negrescu. It calls on the European Commission and Member States to revise the RRM regulation, thus allowing negotiations that could help Romania. Mature projects could benefit from an 18-month extension and transfers to other funding programs. Negotiations will continue in the Budget and Economic Affairs committees.
