Bosch company announced that approximately 510 of the 1,800 employees at its center in Timișoara will lose their jobs by 2030.

This measure is part of a global plan of the group, which aims to eliminate 3,400 jobs in the Bosch Global Business Services division. The company explained that these structural adjustments are necessary to maintain its long-term competitiveness, considering the stagnant demand for services. The reduction of jobs in Romania will be carried out gradually, to allow the implementation of the best measures for employees and for the future of Bosch's activities in Timișoara.

Also, in October, Bosch announced restructuring at the factory in Jucu, Cluj, where approximately 170 positions will be eliminated starting from December 1, 2025.
