The National Trade Union Bloc (BNS) organized a debate on the topic of 'Work Standardization', highlighting the importance of this subject for all employees. BNS proposes two essential measures: the creation of a unified methodology for establishing work standards and the certification of specialists who develop them. Additionally, there is a call for the professional adaptation of employees in the context of the introduction of artificial intelligence. Union leaders assert that work standardization influences salaries, working conditions, and employee health, and a fair and transparent system is necessary to equitably share the benefits of technological progress. It is also emphasized that work standardization can affect the health of workers, and Romania faces high rates of workplace accidents. BNS aims to contribute to a broader public debate by conducting a comparative analysis of regulations in the European Union and formulating public policy recommendations.
