The National Bank of Romania announced the exchange rate for Friday, September 12, 2025, with the euro quoted at 5.0694 lei, decreasing. The US dollar, Swiss franc, and British pound depreciated to 4.3258 lei, 5.4221 lei, and 5.8565 lei, respectively. In contrast, the gram of gold increased by over 1.5 lei, reaching 506.8417 lei. Additionally, the IMF's unit of account decreased to 5.9302 lei.
