The company has provided affected employees with severance packages and assistance for professional transition.

Although these measures are part of a strategy to align resources with business priorities, Bitdefender emphasizes that Romania remains a central pillar in research and development. The company, which reported significant business growth in 2024, does not anticipate further layoffs in the near future but will continue to selectively recruit in strategic areas. Additionally, Bitdefender recorded a net profit of 239.6 million lei in 2024, recovering from the losses of the previous year.
