APIA will pay 38.72 million lei to animal breeders for improvement services provided in September 2025, according to Emergency Ordinance no. 61/2023.

The Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) has announced that it will make payments of nearly 39 million lei for livestock breeders who submitted payment requests for the improvement services carried out in September 2025. The total amount allocated is 38,718,839.10 lei, coming from the state budget through the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

These payments are part of the state aid regulated by Emergency Ordinance no. 61/2023, which establishes the support scheme for the livestock sector. The purpose of these payments is to support farmers and improve the quality of animal breeds in Romania, an essential sector for national agriculture.
