The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) has announced the launch of two free applications, aimed at taxpayers, to facilitate the verification of data reported through the D406 SAF-T declaration in relation to the VAT return D300.
These applications will be available for testing between September and November 2026, during which users can submit proposals and reports regarding any errors.
Approximately 870,000 companies are required to submit SAF-T, and the applications will help about 580,000 firms that also submit the VAT return to identify discrepancies before filing the declarations.
The applications allow users to compare the information from SAF-T with that from D300, facilitating the correction of errors. ANAF emphasizes that data is not transmitted to the agency at this stage, and taxpayer feedback is essential for improving the tools.
