ANAF has begun an extensive check of people who rent out their homes for tourist purposes through online platforms, identifying between 22,000 and 23,000 taxpayers. Tanczos Barna said the notices are being sent to those who have debts from 2019-2024, and the obligation to file tax returns applies to all individuals who derive income from these activities. The NAFA will also analyze sales of tourism services, including those on ad platforms.
