A Romanian worker, Alexandru Suciu, aged 67, died in a work accident on Friday, October 24, in the province of Agrigento, Sicily.

The victim was crushed by a truck while working in an agricultural exploitation, and the driver, a 25-year-old young man, did not notice him during the maneuver. Medical teams intervened quickly, but they were unable to save him. Local authorities, including the carabinieri, have started an investigation, and the prosecutor has ordered the seizure of the victim's body and the vehicle involved. The young driver and the farm owner have been reported for manslaughter.
