The impact was so violent that the Romanian woman's vehicle was thrown into a guardrail and caught fire almost immediately. Witnesses tried to save her, but the flames quickly engulfed the car, and the firefighters could only extinguish the fire and recover the charred body. The Romanian woman, identified as Nicoleta E., had been living in Macerata for many years and was married to a local mechanic. In the other vehicle, a 19-year-old was injured but is out of danger. The accident occurred around 3:00 PM, and the victim's body will be transferred to Macerata for burial.
