A Romanian woman in her 40s is suspected of having killed her 13-year-old daughter, after which she committed suicide. The woman was found hanged from the bed frame in an apartment in Turin, while her daughter was unconscious on the floor.

The woman's other daughter, a 19-year-old teenager, discovered the scene upon returning home and immediately called emergency services, but paramedics were unable to save the girl.

Mihaela, the 40-year-old woman, lived alone with her two daughters after separating from her husband.

The police, led by prosecutor Roberto Furlan, are investigating the circumstances of the incident, and neighbors describe Mihaela as a good woman, but affected by the separation. They claim that despite her efforts to move on, the woman was unable to overcome her emotional pain.
