The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) of Romania has issued a warning for Romanian citizens who are in, transiting through, or intending to travel to the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, Spain. The local Meteorological Agency has declared a red code for wind intensifications of up to 100 km/h and significant rainfall in the provinces of Sevilla and Cadiz, as well as an orange code for strong winds in the province of Malaga, valid from February 4 to 5, 2026.
Romanian citizens can request consular assistance at the phone numbers of the Romanian General Consulate in Sevilla, and for emergency situations, there is a permanent number available. The MAE recommends consulting official websites for additional information and updates regarding weather conditions.
