A Romanian was arrested in Milan after attacking a doorman, trying to rob him.

A 32-year-old Romanian man was arrested in Milan after a violent attack that took place on July 28, in broad daylight, on Via Ciro Menotti. The man is accused of attempting to rob a 52-year-old doorman, and when the latter resisted, the assailant stabbed him with a knife.

The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries, but doctors confirmed that his life is not in danger. The incident began when the Romanian tried to approach a young woman on the street, and she sought refuge with the doorman.

After the attack, the suspect fled but was quickly identified by the police due to surveillance cameras. During his arrest, two knives were found on him, one of which had traces of blood.

The Romanian has been arrested for attempted aggravated robbery and is in the custody of the Italian authorities. The investigation continues to establish all the circumstances of the attack.
