A Romanian has been extradited from Finland to Italy and imprisoned for assaulting the YouTuber known as Cicalone, following a conflict at the subway.

Victor Ionuț Dascălu, at the age of 39, was extradited from Finland to Italy and incarcerated at the Rebibbia prison in Rome, being accused of participating in the assault on the well-known Italian YouTuber Simone Ruzzi, alias Cicalone. Dascălu is considered by investigators to be a member of the criminal group known as "Clanul Hitler", involved in the violent attack last November at the Ottaviano metro station in Rome.

According to prosecutors, the Romanian allegedly attacked the security agents who intervened to protect Cicalone, subsequently delivering a strong blow to his face. Dascălu was arrested in Finland, where he was sentenced to two months in prison for theft, before being handed over to the Italian authorities.

As part of the same investigation, other members of the group have been identified and arrested in Finland and Romania. Dascălu is represented by lawyer Massimo Titi and is awaiting a hearing before the Italian magistrates.
