A 47-year-old Romanian man was arrested in Italy after he attempted to abduct an 18-month-old girl, causing her a femur fracture.

A serious incident took place in Italy, where a 47-year-old Romanian was arrested after attempting to abduct an 18-month-old girl while she was at a shopping center in Bergamo, together with her parents.

The incident, captured by surveillance cameras, occurred on February 14, when the man grabbed the girl by the legs, trying to pull her away from her mother. The woman shouted for help, and the girl's father quickly intervened, along with passersby and security agents, managing to restrain the attacker until the police arrived. The girl was taken to the hospital, where it was found that she had suffered a femur fracture as a result of the violence. The man, homeless and without a criminal record, was arrested and charged with attempted abduction and assault on a minor.
