A 46-year-old Romanian man was arrested on Wednesday near Milan, accused of attempted murder after allegedly trying to set his wife on fire. The incident occurred last week when the woman decided to leave home. According to investigators, the man, who had a history of abuse against his wife, threatened her and threw gasoline in her face at her workplace. The victim managed to escape in a car, and the attacker fled. Later, he turned himself in to the police, handing over a lighter and bottles of gasoline. Additionally, the man tried to report his wife, accusing her of negligence in the household.
