In a message on the X platform, Zelensky conveyed condolences to those affected and emphasized the need to intensify pressure on Russia to prevent the escalation of the conflict.

He mentioned that, the previous night, Russia carried out a deliberate attack on the Odesa region, targeting civilian infrastructure and commercial vessels. Zelensky described the incident in Romania, noting that the drone that struck the building was similar to those of the Shahed type. He also called for tougher international measures against Russia and expressed hope that the new European Union sanctions would have a significant impact on Moscow's actions. The Ukrainian president thanked everyone who contributes to protecting human lives in the context of the war.
