Between September 5-10, 2025, a 21-year-old man from Călărași kidnapped his girlfriend, repeatedly hitting her and threatening her, which resulted in injuries that required medical attention. To prevent her from seeking help, he restricted her phone calls and bound her with adhesive tape. Prosecutors requested the preventive arrest of the defendant, who is being investigated for deprivation of liberty, domestic violence, and destruction.
