On the night between March 7 and 8, 2026, a 17-year-old girl from Albeni was assaulted by her partner, a 23-year-old man, in the town of Țicleni. The conflict was generated by jealousy, and the young woman was punched and forced into the trunk of the car. After managing to call 112 from the man's phone, the police intervened and contacted the aggressor.

He destroyed the young woman's phone and threw it into a forest. The man was detained for 24 hours, and the police issued a temporary protection order and opened a criminal case for domestic violence, threats, destruction, and deprivation of liberty. The young woman was examined by a forensic doctor, who confirmed that her life was not in danger.
