Statistics show that young people under 24 represent a significant proportion of the unemployed in Romania, and many of them choose to look for jobs in other countries within the European Union, where salaries are more attractive. They are more selective in choosing jobs, refusing minimum wages and poor working conditions, which bothers Romanian employers. Although the unemployment rate has decreased at the national level, young people continue to be affected, and the discrepancies between urban and rural areas remain notable. Additionally, Romania's industrial production recorded a decline in the first part of the year, highlighting the economic challenges the country is facing.
