A 22-year-old man from Arad was arrested after he picked up a parcel of 13 kilograms of cannabis in Spain.

The young man was caught in flagrante delicto on August 5, 2025, while picking up a parcel containing 13.1 kilograms of cannabis, which had arrived from Spain via a courier company. The drugs were packed in several bags. After his apprehension, he was remanded in custody for 30 days and is being investigated for international and domestic trafficking of risky drugs, according to IPJ Arad.
