Starting from Sunday, July 12, at 12:00, several regions of the country will be under a yellow storm warning, according to ANM.
The warning is valid until July 13, at 02:00, and concerns the Southern Carpathians, the Eastern Carpathians, the Banat Mountains, the southeast of Oltenia, Muntenia, and the west of Moldova, with an intensification of meteorological phenomena especially in the evening and night in Dobrogea. Meteorologists forecast torrential downpours, electrical discharges, and wind intensifications, with speeds of 50-70 km/h. There is also a risk of gusts and small to medium-sized hail. Rainfall amounts will vary between 15-25 l/m², and locally may exceed 30-40 l/m². Specific manifestations of atmospheric instability will also be reported in the rest of the country, and at the beginning of next week, the phenomena will be widespread, especially in the eastern half of the country.
