The hydrologists have issued a yellow flood warning, valid until Wednesday, July 1, at noon, due to the hydrological instability caused by recent precipitation.

The warning targets important watercourses in the basins of Vișeu, Iza, Someș, Crasna, Barcău, Crișul Repede, Crișul Negru, Crișul Alb, Mureș, Olt, and Argeș, where rapid increases in flow rates and levels are expected. Specialists warn about the risks of local flooding, especially on small rivers and tributaries. The warning applies to the northern, central, and southern halves of the country, with an emphasis on the counties of Maramureș, Bistrița-Năsăud, Cluj, Bihor, Sălaj, Alba, and Hunedoara.

Significant runoff phenomena on slopes and rapid floods can cause significant effects, and authorities are on alert to prevent potential flooding.
