The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management has issued a yellow flood warning for the counties of Vaslui, Iași, and Neamț, valid until Sunday morning.

The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management (INHGA) issued a yellow flood warning on Saturday, valid until Sunday morning, for rivers in the counties of Vaslui, Iași, and Neamț. The warning refers to the period from May 23, 12:00 PM to May 24, 09:00 AM, when increases in flow rates and levels are expected due to the propagation of previously formed floods upstream.

These increases could lead to exceedances of alert levels on the rivers in the Bârlad hydrographic basins, especially on the left tributaries related to the downstream sector of S.H. Băcești - upstream of S.H. Bârlad. The warning has been sent to the Ministry of Environment, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, and other relevant authorities. Additionally, the hydrological warning from the other previously warned hydrographic basins is lifted.
