The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management has issued a yellow flood warning for Thursday, September 11, between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM, due to forecasted precipitation. Significant runoff is expected on slopes and rapid floods on small rivers, with risks of exceeding alert levels in the counties of Maramureș, Satu Mare, Bistrița-Năsăud, Cluj, Bihor, Sălaj, Hunedoara, Arad, and Alba. Authorities recommend that the population avoid areas prone to flooding and protect personal belongings.
