Meteorologists from ANM have issued a yellow code alert for frost, valid starting tonight, January 21, from 8:00 PM, until January 22, 10:00 AM, affecting 13 counties in the north and center of the country. Minimum temperatures will range between -19 and -9 degrees, with the lowest values in eastern Transylvania.

Additionally, ANM has announced a weather advisory for extremely cold weather, with mixed precipitation and ice, valid until January 23. In the coming days, frost is expected at night and in the morning, with temperatures around -10 degrees in some regions. In Bucharest, the weather will be cold, with light mixed precipitation and ice, and temperatures will range between -3 and 3 degrees. Wind intensifications are expected in the south of Banat and Moldova.
