A 39-year-old worker was trapped by a landslide during sewer works in the village of Rădila, Valea Călugărească commune, Prahova County. The Prahova Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) intervened quickly, but by the time the rescuers arrived, the worker's colleagues had managed to pull him out from under the earth.
The victim was conscious and cooperative, being medically assisted by a team from the County Ambulance Service. In support of this, a SMURD helicopter was also requested, which will assess his medical condition to decide if transport to the hospital is necessary. This incident highlights the risks associated with construction work and the importance of rapid intervention in such situations.
