A 55-year-old woman from Gura Teghii, reported missing on March 14, was found dead in the bed of the Bâsca river on Sunday, March 22. The Buzău police were alerted by a man who discovered the lifeless body. The operational teams confirmed the identity of the victim, who had been missing for several days. Authorities conducted search operations using tracking dogs, boats, and sonar. Currently, the police continue investigations to determine the circumstances of the death, and the autopsy will help clarify the situation. The woman, Untea Eugenia, left home voluntarily on the morning of March 14 and did not return.
