A 40-year-old man was arrested for qualified murder after he stabbed his 30-year-old partner in the commune of Vulcan, Brașov.

A 30-year-old woman was killed by her boyfriend, a 40-year-old man, on the night of October 14 to 15, in a shared residence in the commune of Vulcan, Brașov County. The man, a repeat offender, is being investigated for domestic violence in the form of qualified murder, having been detained immediately after the incident. According to investigations conducted by prosecutors and the Brașov Police, he used a knife found at the scene to take the life of his partner. The man had a criminal record, having been previously convicted for attempted murder and other violent crimes. The judge issued a preventive arrest warrant for 30 days.
