The woman caught with prohibited items in Parliament claims that they were from the Soviet period and she had them by mistake.

At the exit from the hearings, the woman explained that the objects, including a scalpel, came from the Soviet period and she forgot them in her purse in a hurry. Although she felt safe having them in Chișinău, she did not know that she was not allowed to bring them into Parliament. The police opened a criminal case for the illegal possession of dangerous objects.
